PROBLEM
Stitch seeks to reconnect East and West Austin by transforming a segment of intrusive infrastructure into an accessible and sustainable development integrated within the city. Through a redesign that removes highway I-35 in favor of a multi-level public plaza, the different demographics of the city can be unified under a new identity that stitches Austin together.
